The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Is Lighter and More Efficient
For over 70 years, Jeep has proven to be the leader in off-road vehicles. The 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL still has the horsepower and ground clearance of past Jeeps, but it lost weight for better efficiency. It was built with weight-saving aluminum on the hood, fenders, doors, hinges, and windshield frame. Classic features such as the removable roof and doors remain, along with its round headlamps, fold-down windshield, side-hinged tailgate, and blocky, high-clearance fenders. The Wrangler JL comes standard with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that puts out 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It also has an available four-cylinder engine that produces 270 horsepower for towing up to 3,500 pounds. Wrangler JLs are available in two- and four-door models. Two-door versions come in Sport, Sport S, and Rubicon versions, while the four-doors add a Sahara trim level between Sport S and Rubicon.
The 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL’s cabin sports a new seat design that’s more comfortable and supportive, and heated front seats are available for frigid weather. It offers more luxury and convenience than ever, with available leather-trimmed seats, a leather-wrapped dashboard with contrast stitching, a new customizable 7-inch Driver Information Digital Cluster Display and an available 4C NAV with an 8.4-inch touchscreen. The Jeep Wrangler JL uses active noise cancellation and acoustic laminated windshield glass for a quiet ride, helping you enjoy the available Alpine Premium Audio System even more. Safety is important even when off-roading, and the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL assists you with a rearview camera standard. Optional active safety features include blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors to help you spot potential driving hazards. The Jeep Wrangler JL is new and improved for 2018, and Salt Lake Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has numerous Wrangler JLs available in our massive inventory. Visit us, and test drive one today.
